Motorola has officially entered the book-style foldable phone market with the debut of the Razr Fold. This new device directly challenges the dominance of Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold series and Google’s Pixel Fold. While details remain limited, the Razr Fold represents a significant expansion of Motorola’s foldable lineup, which currently features the clamshell-style Razr.
The introduction of a book-style foldable suggests Motorola is targeting users who prioritize a larger screen experience for multitasking and content consumption. The company is expected to release the Razr Fold in 2026, potentially coinciding with the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7.
Alongside the Razr Fold announcement, Motorola also unveiled a special edition Razr FIFA World Cup 26™ Edition, highlighting the company’s design and craftsmanship. This limited edition model celebrates the upcoming global football tournament.
