India’s white-ball tour of Bangladesh, originally planned for a sooner date, will now take place in September 2026. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced the series as part of a packed home schedule for the nation. The tour will feature both One Day International (ODI) and Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. While the BCB has publicly revealed the dates, confirmation from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is still pending. This rescheduling comes amidst a busy period for Bangladesh cricket, which also includes a series against Australia. The announcement also coincides with ongoing discussions surrounding Mustafizur Rahman’s participation in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and his Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) contract.
